Our Teachings

Ours is a Multi -Style Yoga, a combination of Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, and Relaxation Techniques. Most of our Teachers are E-RYT 500 , Registered with Yoga Alliance ( see www.yogaalliance Yoga Bulletin Board). We have also International Yoga Therapists ( IAYT).
One of our main aims is to give maximum service to our community. We would like to make IAYI one of the leading Research and Educational Institutions in the field of Yoga. We believe, from our practical experience, that Yoga will help to relieve most of the common illnesses, such as back pain, shoulder pain, joint pain, diabetes, arthritis, asthma, hypertension, anxiety, depression, and most of the mental illnesses. 
 
The practice of Hatha Yoga can help you recognize your hidden physical and mental potentials. Through the continued performance of Asanas, you will gain flexibility and strength, and learn to be more relaxed under othervise stressful situations. Hatha Yoga's relaxation Exercises will open the energy channels, which in turn allows spiritual energy to flow freely. Some hatha Yoga poses also massage and tone your internal organs, helping to prevent diseases such as diabetes, arthritis, asthma, and hypertension. They also bring balance to internal and glandular functions. 
Pranayama: According to Patanjali "Pranayama should be practiced only after a firm   foundation in asana has been established." Practicing Pranayama releases tension in the body, calms the nervous system and keeps the mind tranquil. Pranayama  can help manage asthma and bronchitis.
 
Our Relaxation techniques will help you cope with stress, relieves tension, and deal with anxiety and depression. it will help you put your mind in a focused state to prepare for meditation and eventually, the search for enlightment.
